The annual Tall Poppy Fishing Challenge will take place at Kinloch, Lake Taupo, on April 24.
The competition is free to enter and is open to anyone with an interest in the thoroughbred industry.
There will be three prizes up for grabs, including heaviest trout, best conditioned factor trout, and team with the heaviest three trout.
